Don't be angry with me, but I'm leaving again for a while. You know how busy I get this time of year!
Like Wyclef Jean once said, I'll be gone 'til November.
Though in this case, I'll be gone 'til March.
If you want to reach me between now and then, the quickest way is to e-mail offcolorcommentator@gmail.com.

1 question:
Why is NBC calling it "Turino?" Is that what we English speakers call it now? Does this mean we have to use all native spellings for foreign cities? Up until the Olympics, this city has been called Turin by 99% of the US. I'm worried of the massive precedent being set. Do I now call Munich, Munchen? And what about the umlates? All I can say is "Thanks, NBC, for screwing with the english speaking language."
i've often wondered about the habits of having different names for the same cities in different languages. and who gets to pick these new translated names? are there different names for all sorts of american cities that im unaware of. i'd love to start calling cities here by their various international names.
